General Questions
Q: Can I bring along my pet's personal bedding/toys?
A: Hygiene is of the utmost importance to us. To allow efficient cleaning and ease of washing we prefer to use our own bedding during your pets stay. We have plenty of warm snuggly blankets and bedding for your pets.
Q: Do you have a Pick Up/Delivery Service?
A: Yes we can pickup or drop off your pet under special conditions. Please contact us to discuss options.
Q: Can I bring toys and treats for my pet?
A: Your pets safety is our priority. We do allow toys to be brought along, as long as they pose no choking hazard. (Tennis balls and rope toys not permitted). You may bring along your pets treats - although we have a selection of yummy treats available complimentary during your pets stay.
Q: Do I need to bring my pet's own food?
A: Should you pet have special dietary needs we would recommend and welcome you to bring your pets food along. As part of our normal service all food is included in the daily charge which is a top quality pet food pertaining to the age of your pet.
Q: How can I be sure my pets will be well cared for at your facility?
A: As we live on the property your pets are kept in a safe and secure environment. We are also located directly opposite our preferred vet who is our preferred vet. Our processes and procedures require that our staff report any situation to us immediately to ensure action is taken if required.
Q: What must I bring with me when checking in my pet?
A: Current Vaccination certificates and any current medications your pet requires (including the instructions).
Q: I can't come during your nominated office hours, what can I do?
A: If you are unable to drop off or pick up your pet during our nominated office hours we recommend asking a friend or relative who might be able to attend during office hours as we are not open to the public outside the nominated hours. This is because our kennel license includes the maintenance of a noise abatement program and our business opening hours are considered by council as acceptable and reasonable.
Q: What time do you feed the dogs?
A: To settle your pet into our kennel routine we endeavour to do all feeding between 7 and 8am each morning. We also do an afternoon feed around 5pm for pets who require 2 feeds a day. If your pet has special feeding requirements, these can be accommodated.
Q: Are you open for inspections prior to my pet staying with you?
A: We welcome the opportunity for you to inspect the boarding conditions, Monday-Friday between 12pm-5pm. No need to call ahead. Inspections are unable to be done during public holidays, weekends and busy school holiday periods.
Q: What additional services do you provide?

Q: Can I, or a nominated family member and/or friend, visit my pet while staying with you?
A: Of course you can. You have a number of options available to you and we can accommodate nearly any request given to us. The most common thing to do is to either utilise one of our larger runs for game time (fetch and chase) or you are welcome to take your dog on day trips. Visits must be during opening hours and be pre-arranged.
Q: How are you fees charged?
A: Fees are charged from the day of arrival, regardless of the time. If you pet is picked up before 10 am (Monday-Saturday only) then there is no charge for that day. However if you pick your pet up after 10am then a full days fees for that day is payable.
Dog Boarding Questions
Q: Can my two (or more) dogs share a run?
A: We have a variety of kennel sizes and can accommodate multiple dogs from the same family in a shared kennel.
Q: Is the kennel area heated?
A: Ultraviolet heat lamps have been fitted to some kennels and are available for you dog although a surcharge will apply.
Q: Do you offer a day care service for dogs?
A: Yes we do. We would love to have your dog come and play with us for the day. Local caravan parks and Perth city hotels often refer their clients to us for their clients pet requirements.
Q: What if there is an emergency medical problem?
A: We have our preferred Vet available to us on call and are conveniently located across the road from our premises.
Q: What level of vaccination do I require to have for my dog(s)?
A: C5 - this includes vaccination for Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Kennel Cough and Bordetella, please consult your vet for further details. We require to sight the certificate provided by your vet.
Q: Will my dog have to share a run with another dog?
A: No, we have individual runs for all dogs. If you would like your dog to play with other sociable dogs during their stay, you may like to enroll them into our doggie daycare service for an addition $15 per day enrolled.
Q: What is considered a large breed of dog?
A: Our examples of larger breed dogs are Labradors, Boxes etc. Please contact us if you are not sure.
Q: What is considered a small breed of dog?
A: Our examples of smaller breed dogs are Jack Russell, Chihuahua etc. Please contact us if you are not sure.
Cat Boarding Questions
Q: Is the cattery area heated and air conditioned?
A: Yes. Our cattery has been built to the latest specifications in consultation with our Vet and the RSPCA. All cats are provided with individual heat pads and the cattery temperature is managed by evaporative air conditioning for its efficiency and refreshing flow of air.
Q: Can my two (or more) cats share a run?
A: Yes. Our rooms are large enough to accommodate 2 cats. If you have more than this that you wish to board together we also have 1 larger room which can accommodate up to 5 cats.
Q: What time do you feed the cats?
A: Cats are feed wet food in the morning and evening (around 10am and 4pm) while dry food is available all day for your cat to nibble on as they please.
Q: What level of vaccination do I require to have for my cat(s)?
A: F4 - this includes vaccination for Feline Enteritis, Cat Flu, Feline Chlamydia and Feline Leukaemia, please consult your vet for further details. We require to sight the certificate provided by your vet.
Bird Boarding Questions
Q: What do you feed your boarded birds?
A: We understand the different types of birds and their requirements. We can cater for seed, nectar and/or insect eaters. Fruit and Vegetables are also provided.
Q: Do I need to bring my bird's cage?
A: If you'd prefer not to bring their own cage then we are happy to accommodate your birds needs, but please bring along some of their favourite toys for them to play with.
Q: I have a hand raised bird, how can I be sure that my bird will get the required interaction?
A: We understand the requirement for hand raised/tame birds to get consistent attention. Therefore we will make every effort to ensure your bird is given the proper interaction they require.
Q: If my bird was to get sick, do you have a qualified vet on call?
A: Our Vet is located just across the road from our premises and is also a fully qualified Avian Vet, whom we use for our own collection of pet and breeding birds.
